April 4, 20224 yr Mendick has been working out to be the emergency #3 catcher so he has added value. With Severino being optioned, Sousa looks like a lock as the other lefty in the pen.

April 4, 20224 yr With as long as the Sox are taking here, and who is still around, I am guessing they are still trying to make some deals.
April 4, 20224 yr They have 16 pitchers in camp, and three of them are Crochet, Lynn, and Kelly…so something has to come from outside the organization. 13 pitchers with expanded rosters isn’t really a good option…at least not for more than a week. I agree, I think they acquire one more pitcher from outside the organization and go with one extra positional guy for a month. Edited April 4, 20224 yr by Chicago White Sox
