Kelly to IL (strained hamstring - out a monthish); Banks up

Awesome job signing a guy who was injured even before being signed! Nothing like damaged goods!

Another hamstring, wow, shocking! WTF!

With all these hamstring injuries the last few years, why in the hell can't these players learn to properly stretch? This is simply insane! If the Sox coaches and trainers can't effectively teach them, then these players who make ridiculous money, can afford to hire their own expert trainer to assist in their knowledge and execution of proper strength training and stretching techniques.

I think it was the last 3 or 4 seasons coming into this one where the Sox lead the league in hamstring ILs. Overall, I think they were still below average in days lost. But it cost Thomas his job, and who knows, maybe if they knew he'd be gone, they may have drafted his son.

But there is a problem here.

I missed the news on this. What a joke with all the hammy injuries. I can't believe he got hurt delivering a simple pitch. Ugh.

We don't have anymore interesting RP guys in AA or AAA?

Tanner Bankshas been terrible, and worse than that has been TLR bringing him in close games late.  Banks has cost us at least two games this year so far.  He should relegated to mop up duties along with Josh Harrison.

If he costs the Sox another game soon, it's DFA time for him. A 30-year-old, 18th round pick. Bye bye.

I call him Tanner "who makes every hitter look like Ernie" Banks.

lol

The Sox should consider picking up someone from the Cubs as a depth piece. The Cubs are about to have some serious 40 man issues with Alzolay, Bote, and Heyward coming back and have a lot of bullpen depth. Someone like Chris Martin would be a good fit. He’s been solid so far and has playoff experience including the WS last year.
