DSL down 6-0, no hits but quite a few walks.

Timmy is supposed to start rehab assignment today.

Loidell is now 2-2 with a walk, hitting .727 the first two games.

Hernandez with a single and no ks.

This DSL game rules. DSL White Sox losing 10-9. They have 12 Walks and 9 hits, and no extra base hits. A DSL game extraordinaire.

My gut says DSL White Sox pull it out.

I wish I loved anything as much as @bmags loves the DSL.

I know, it's a beautiful star I orbit around.

It's insane. BUt it's similar to people that love sudoku. I get this box score, I look, there will be like 25 runs scored. You'll say to yourself "wow must have been some big performances" but then basically every hitter just has a single. But there will be like 30 errors you can't see. Then you'll look at the hitters and they all struck out like 15 times, but the opposing pitchers will all have horrendous numbers barely striking out anyone. I just want to be the scorekeeper at the games. It has to be just stupefying and hilarious and beautiful watching this baseball-like game.

These kids are the ages of American High School baseball players.  Having seen plenty of HS baseball, I get it.

Well shoot I don't think they will pull it off. Gonna need some real magic (other team committing extraordinary amounts of errors and walks)

Should be an inteersting lineup down there tonight with TA, Eloy and Sheets.  Hopefully Perez is back in action too so we can swap him out for Zavala soon.

Really? I feel like HS baseball is different. Starting pitchers go 5 IP+, middle of the order bats end up with 5-6 HRs. It's baseball-like. I always enjoyed HS baseball around here.

Sure, but there is plenty of weird randomness.

Maybe TA brings back a positive scouting report.

Some hard contact off Mena in the first. Struggling with command on the fastball, but gets out of it unscathed.

Colson also crushed a double to right center in his first AB.

Thompson strikes out three in the 1st. Love to see it.

Two more strikeouts in the 2nd for Thompson. Throwing strikes and getting ahead.

Down in Charlotte, TA, Haseley and Yolbert all have hits. Micker hit a homer

Looks like he’s mastered his fastball now. That was part 1.

Two more strikeouts in the 3rd for Thompson. Got hit around a bit, but damage was minimal. Still throwing strikes. 48 pitches 38 of them strikes.

Dayummmmmm

Lol. Ramos just hit a towering fly ball that barely got out. I didn't think it had a chance off the bat. HR number 10.

Mena is having a unique outing. The strikeouts aren't there, but not tons of hard contact. 1 SO 1 BB 4 H through 5 innings. Seems very fastball heavy today.

Thompson feasting. Think he just struck out a guy on 3 straight changeups.
