.500 is where we be when the dust settles this year

Looking at the upcoming schedule, 8-12 games under feels more accurate.  Especially if they stop competing entirely the last 10 or so.

This is a .500 team. I am not hoping for any more than that. And the White Sox can no longer be considered favorites to win the AL Central. If they somehow win the division, I'll be happy but shocked.

They haven’t been division favorites in a few weeks now. Down to 20% for division and 35% for playoffs per fangraphs.

Any other signs to look for?

Send it fly'in to the Ryan?

Was thinking about it last night.

The White Sox won the World Series on October 26, 2005.

On October 27th, imagine someone telling you that from now until at least 2022, the White Sox won't win another playoff series.

Not only that, but imagine being told in those 17 years, Kenny Williams and Rick Hahn will still be in charge of things.

17 years.

Years from now people will remember The Houston Massacre of 2022.

It is hard to imagine, not to mention depressing. I thought things would change after 2005. Obviously, they changed the wrong way.
