How predictable is it that the Sox exploded for 13 runs, only for offense to immediately collapse.

It was more like a 7 run explosion against an injured pitcher and Aaron Sanchez.

I don't think it matters. His change up is probably his best pitch and lefties don't do that well against him.

It always matters. Lefties may not do great against great RHP pitching either but it prevents a pitcher from getting into a groove when he has to face opposites handed guys. Now if you're talking about it not mattering with Moncada, Grandal or Sheets I'd agree.

Castillo might strike out 15 guys today.

They’re getting good swings at the high fastball

Umpire isn’t giving Kopech anything

All our lefties suck. Against pitchers with fairly even splits, you'd rather play your better hitters.

Kopech is all over the place this inning.

Its not often, you can find a way to start a game going 0-6, with 6 K's.

I can't remember it happening before.

Will the postgame show be cancelled?

Funny how management didn't think good LHH mattered and we have the same .500 team we've seen for the last 3 trade periods (2 mid season trade deadlines and one off season).

Mariners fans have to hate Frazier

Good thing we didn't trade for him. He's been trash since the trade to the Padres.

This umpire is incredibly bad

Where was that pitch?

Trammell looks just like Denard Span

Damn ump  great pitch called a ball.

I look forward to seeing if the experiment continues with Frank M. Inevitably he will wind up unemployed here after this season unless JR is just trolling the fanbase. I would be curious his next team leads the league in ground ball percentage and just dies offensively.

Jesus Kopech, please shave you look terrible

Baby steps. Someone please hit a fair ball this inning.
