Is it also a sign you’re still stuck in China?

I used to plan trips to visit new stadiums, but the MLB has disgusted me so over the past three “seasons”, I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back. I also hate Atlanta (city/team), and the two other stadiums are shitty domes I hate watching baseball in.

I went to a few games in 2021 with free tickets (skybox Wrigley), but my last paid for game or White Sox was March 2020 at Diamondback Ranch in Arizona to watch the Sox play SD, my first ever trip to Spring Training (was always busy at work in Winter).

Don’t like the fact the Sox banned all cash including box office and concessions. Fans miss entire innings waiting in line, in part due to CC processing. Problems also noted with lines just to enter games on crowded days. That and LaRussa / Jerry kept me away the past two years, waiting for new owner to return at this point. I don’t see Jerry leaving until the 2030s/2040s. Hell, Virginia and Jerry may still be around entering 2050.

Yeah, made it to Chicago in 2016,  obviously many times in Old Com iskey. Minnesota in 2018 and SF in 2019 before Covid.

SF is definitely won of the nicest new stadiums.  Like it a lot more than Safeco...which is still nice.

Both LA for me were nice, especially?Chavez.

Old Yankee Stadium.  Old Memorial in Baltimore.  Wrigley.  Both STL. Both Pitt.  Tucson for ST.  Glendale.  Both Detroit.   Probably 30-40 in KC.  Atlanta Fulton County.   Old Memorial in CLE prior to Jacobs/Progressive.  Both Arlington.

Only 21, half yours.

47 states, lived/worked in China, Colombia, Thailand (w/ La Roche and son on patrol, joking), Philippines, Indonesia and South Korea.  Guess country count is low 40's, have to do a summer in Europe to pick up another good bunch.

I stated earlier all they did was take the handicap sections that are never used and cut a hole in the wall.  There were no seats there to remove.

516 had seats. It’s 514 and 518 that have handicapped stalls.

My brother had seats in 516 row 2 for years.

To be fair, they fleeced taxpayers for &200 million and have a short term lease where they can get a new park in 15 years.

Cleveland extended  their stadium lease  last year. They are staying at their present location for another 20 years. The White Sox lease expires in  another 5 years. They're not going to do anything major to the present stadium  unless they renew the lease.

Cleveland reworked thier lease. The original 30 yease was set to expire this year, but it was turned into a 15 year deal that started in 2021. With an option for another ten years at the same terms.

sox have seven years(including this one) of their deal set to expire in 2029. That was extended when they changed the parks name. 2030 is a buffer year that the Sox have the right to enact. The naming rights deal expires in 2030 with or without the Sox.
