Your life must have to be pretty damn boring to care about the walkout song of a pitcher. Players have walkout songs that literally have lyrics with topics ranging from human beings murdering other human beings and songs that have insanely graphic sexualized lyrics. (Players have come out to Lollipop which is specifically about getting a blowjob.) Buuuut omg, the humanity! Bad boy Clevinger not only chose a Kanye song…but, it also was a veiled shot at his actual real life gold digging ex who tried to ruin his life. We should release him today! ?

My goodness, a song that’s “SPECIFICALLY about getting a blowjob”? Now I’ve heard everything!

I would think a good organization would have some control over the selection of songs the players choose. I get it's the choice of the player, but it has to be within reason and in good taste. Are you

First off, what did this clown think he accomplished with this? Secondly,  how does whoever is in charge of actually playing it go through with it?

And bringing back the manager associated with that historical  ineptitude.

Inspiring.

Being a decent human being transcends wins and losses.

Pedro is not a good manager, but Clevinger is not a good human being, which he has displayed repeatedly throughout the years, and the reason he'll hopefully be joining his fourth team over a 55 start period (54 since 2020, 55th and fourth team in 2024).

Hope this is the final White Sox game ever I don't have to skip because of this asshat.

Would be a fitting end to his stay here.

5 Outs; 7 Hits; 2 Walks; runs all earned

A cherry on top of the season, he will always be remembered for delivering the 100th loss for only the fifth time in White Sox history.

Regardless of what you think of him as a person, he performed well on the field.

edit: before this is misconstrued or whatever, I’m merely saying his on field performance doesn’t really merit mockery. Other stuff, that’s fair game.

Congrats. You got a 2 fWAR season out of him for $12 million. That’s, tolerable? Better than average for Rick Hahn? Not the worst Hahn free agent signing of last offseason?

His 2.2 fWAR is worth 18M by the same evaluation system, so yes it’s tolerable.

performance wise, as I mentioned. Everyone knows his personal life is questionable and pointing it out doesn’t make you a better person.

I guess people don't like him. There might be worse guys on this squad. His case brought out much to educate the world with like you do not cross that line with a woman. People grandstanding their morals kind of bore me. Let us focus on redemption and a teaching moment. Respect your woman.
