Final score was 1-0, and it was only the second earned run Sloan had given up all year. Insane. His ERA skyrocketed up to 0.30.

And most admitted they were just guessing, which was all I was looking for. So don’t be surprised if I stick with Bazzana again in this week’s mock, since a vast majority feel the Guardians will who they perceive is the best player. He was a starter in college and a pretty good one but he has a couple things to work on to become a big league starting pitcher. He needs to repeat his delivery better and develop a consistent third pitch (change). The problem is his bat will be ready way before his arm so if he's going to continue to pitch it will have to be as a reliever which is fine because his plus fastball/slider will get big league hitters out in short stints.

Cleveland, as far as I know, has the clearest “type” preferences on both the pitching and hitting side of any team. And they’re both pretty much the opposite of what Caglianone is on either side of the ball. I feel like it’s Werherholt at a touch under slot.

Thank god they traded Caminero to the Rays...they might have dominated for five more years. Now they have to draft another up the middle guy because none of theirs are hitting well enough. Unless they go with one of those two collegiate pitchers.
July 5, 20241 yr From my sources, seems to be some drama around Cags. Certainly doesnt sound like he has much support in the local jeep dealerships. Would not expect him to be driving to the Rate in a brand new cherokee, thats for sure.
