Well, he was drafted for the purpose of rushing him to the majors in 2020, so it's no surprise that they rushed him back. Dick Allen Posted June 2, 2023 Share Posted June 2, 2023 I'm not going to fault them for putting Liam on the roster, but Crochet with the MLB team just reeks of desperation. Bummer has struggled. Diekman was a Rick Hahn deal. It made no sense last year and to have to pay him for this season.....If he had a reliable lefty or two in the bullpen, Crochet would be working things out in Charlotte.
