Two guys I've never heard of pitching today during the championship window.  Bang up job, Rick!

  • Watching the White Sox today makes one realize how long it will be before they are a good team.

You are absolutely correct on that. Yeah I guess when TA got that home run last night, everything is back to normal. I guess Grifol doesn't think that Benintendi with his .284 BA and .350 OBP isn

Just a complete fall from grace. Please just trade him. For anything. I'd rather have anyone else pitch. Kopech is just too inconsisent to trust on the mound. He's not anything without that 97-plus mph fastball and nasty slider and especially with no command.

He has very little value

So shocking to see Kopech struggle after two innings with 5 walks. ?

You know there's an issue when even the opposing team's broadcasters are sympathizing with your pitcher.

"This is hard to watch."

The command difference between these pitchers is amazing

Vaughn is terrible.

True under the Sox mentoring and fixing capabilities. If he went to the Rays or some other good team, I'm confident they could get more out of him than the Sox.

Another brilliant pitching performance by the 4th year rookie bust

Hasn't that been the case all year?

That is Jake's 4th walk in the last three games. Give him some credit, he is trying to be more patient.

Not sure even the Rays could fix him, he’s a head case.

Fastball down to 91, what is happening

Or just not very talented anymore

Here is that famous Kopech 110 mph fastball.

Sox player development sucks the talent out of their players

That was better.

Needed a quick inning there.

He’s turning into the pitching version of Moncada.  From elite, all world physical skills to mediocre

Exactly.

He's number 2 in rotation next year.  I'd package him with Bummer and hope a team buys on the potential.

Tim dabbing in the 2 hole. Tim dabbing in the leadoff role.

All he does is dab dab dab.

Yep, that ball is 425 feet a few years ago

WTP Moncada
