Only 2 balls hit hard off him all night, and one of those was an out. Ramos 1-2, bb, 2b that was absolutely scalded. A solid 5IP/2ER run start from Cannon backed up by 4IP of hitless relief from lefties Schoenle and Scolaro. Barons win 3-2, and the GWRBI was on a bases loaded HBP. Kanny lost 6-4 after Seidl gave up a 5 spot in the 9th. W-S lost 8-7. They kept coming back, but their np pitching staff couldn't hold them off. Charlotte lost 20-4. Enough said. My dad was bemoaning Colson's batting average to me. I had to explain that his OBP is enough to be happy about in such a small sample size.
