November 3, 200322 yr Did anyone else watch it... i was waiting for this episode for like 6 weeks, when they started previewing it.. and it wasnt as good as i was expecting.. i dont know... It had its funny moments... but it seemed to be missing something... what does everyone else think??

November 3, 200322 yr Great...and I'm sitting here getting ready to watch King of the Hill. Well King of the Hill is my favorite over that. I'll still watch Simpsons, soley based on the name I guess.
November 3, 200322 yr Duffman wouldn't hav been happy with that episode tonite. I know we get a new 1 down here on Tuesday, don't know if its the Treehouse 1 or not. The New York episode is still my all time fav.
November 3, 200322 yr This episode was the s*** Im sure many of you (like me) have been watching the Simpsons for a long time and have followed their downfall over the last couple years. Maybe its because I've come to expect mediocre episodes, but this was really a solid Treehouse of horror The best one had to be the last tale where bart/milhouse get a hold of a watch that stops time. Scene with Homer/Nelson probably was the funniest of the night. WAnt to talk about bad episodes.... the one shown afterwards with Bart divorcing his parents and hanging out with Tony Hawk was fricken terrible.

November 3, 200322 yr I think the best part of the Halloween episode was when Homer became death and had to kill Marge...and then God lifts up the body and says "Wait...this is Selma!"
November 3, 200322 yr I like THE SIMPSONS but I think all of the Halloween specials suck. They always seem to. I only like the 1, where the Aliens came, and they needed 2 beams to lift up Homer, who was eatin a burger.

November 3, 200322 yr The Simpsons were really funny and really good up until one of their top writers and creative minds left the show to pursue other interests. That was back in 1997. By the way, that writer and creative mind has his own late night television show. His name is Conan O'Brien. Once he left, that show turned to s***. They're just stretching now. But you can understand that. I mean, how many episodes can you write after 14 years? All the ideas are spent and burned out. That show should have ended years ago. But FOX milks it for all it's worth, much like they do their sports announcers. I just wish Bart would have an episode where he is grounded, stuck in his room, and exclaims, "f*** this. I'm outta here."
November 3, 200322 yr Yeah it was okay. The first story was almost a complete rip-off of the Family Guy episode "Death is a b****", which was a hundered times funnier as well. Best Halloween episode was "Night of the Dolphin" from a few years back, no doubt.

Can't believe I forgot it was Family Guy.
