Three Ls in a row, but I am not upset at all. To me it's the process and not the results at this point in time. I hated the Utah and Tampa Bay games, both games the Hawks won, but loved the Vancouver game (a game the Hawks lost, assist to the zebras).

Just got a chance to watch the Seattle game and super excited to see Moore on the ice, that kid is relentless and needless to say a brilliant skater. There is more offensive punch with him out there. The defense still looks good. Luvshonov still making gaffs, but also has the talent to make up for it at times. Faceoffs better too. Only disappointing thing right now is Nazar seems to be off a bit.

Still, it's all about progress and development in my eyes and also entertainment. I am pleased so far.

Odd you say that about Lev in that game when he was probably our best defenseman. Kid is improving game by game and you can see it. Moore was fantastic. Should've had 2 points if his line didn't fail him (Donato in particular was brutal).

Make no mistake this team is still not very good. Spencer Knight is hiding alot of their flaws right now. But I love that the kids are growing and getting better together. Should continue to be a fun season. Wait till the others arrive and the slow, older players are gone.

Jersey game was one of the most frustrated I've been all year. Not about the team at all or how they work.

-I never expected to win, New Jersey is a better team right now and the Hawks were without 3 key pieces. The game started great, but it was tough sledding in the 2nd and 3rd

-Jersey were acting like jagoffs running our guys. The Dillon guy needed someone to address him. I know enforcers are no longer really a thing, but come on man. This isn't the first game I've seen this and won't be the last.

-I despised what Blashill did in the OT. Toward the end he had two D-men out there, CLEARLY playing for the damn "shootout point". The skills competition is a crap shoot, but I guess Blashil wanted to try. This team doesn't need to do that. This team needs to PLAY HOCKEY. Cut that s%*# out. Put the players out there and try to win. This season is about building foundational moments for next year and the year after.

-2nd period. I'll chalk it up to coming home from a pretty good road trip and having a quick shot of octane then just kinda running out of gas. Still it seems the 2nd Periods have been an ongoing problem.

-What a goal by Lafferty. Kudos to Slags for also getting a goal. Knight insane again, Crevier looking good. Turnover in OT aside I love Moore, keep him in there, let him grow, keep giving him those important minutes.

Levshunov has arrived. Kid has been outstanding tonight.

I just watched the game on replay, he was dazzling. THIS is why you hang with the kids, he struggled earlier in the season, but it's very clear he has really progressed and FAST. This is what I kinda expected to see from 55 after half a season of hockey, not in November. That's a great sign. He could have had a couple goals and 3 assists. Way to go young man. I continue to love Crevier's game as well. The D crew as I have said I think is going to be playoff level next year. They just need a few more miles.

Nazar was more noticeable in this game. Great to see. Greene continues to just be solid at hockey. And Oliver Moore. lol, find me more than 5 skaters in the NHL faster than that kid. Also liked seeing the 12/6 setup instead of 11/7. Also had a much better 2nd period that previously, another good step.

Knight was good as is usually the case, but Woll stood tall for Toronto as well. PK was outstanding again. My ONLY disappointment is below 40% on draws, meaning we start most possessions chasing. I trust both Bedard and Nazar will get better here as both those guys get more mature and stronger.

All told a fun freaking game to watch. And Hawks prospects in the sysytem (Lardis, Frondell,Kantserov,Nestrasil are 4 that have stood out lately) are showing serious signs as well. So we know the future is bright for this franchise.
