Was Haber really in a position to overrule Shirley/Hahn/KW???

From what we know about him, his idea of scouting was almost completely from a statistical/analytics standpoint and almost nothing about passing the so-called Grady Fuson "eye test" from Moneyball...you never heard about Haber getting out on the road and doing anything resembling scouting or talent evaluation in person.

My favorite memory is him leaving.
