Well, at least he's worth a lot more than Julks, Pham and DeJong.

Not so much pressure on him in ATL compared to NYM and Seattle.   With Ozuna out now, doesn't have to constantly worry about playing opportunities, either.

I actually do not understand the thinking here. It’s not like Thorps is guaranteed to give you length tomorrow. Are they gonna send someone down and bring up a fresh arm to back up Thorpe? If you burn out the pen today, Mendick may have to go 7 tomorrow

Underestimated how "average" the Braves' offense was after the Top 3 hitters and ofc without Ozuna.

Riley, Olson, Murphy, Duvall, Arcia, etc., were all much much better last season.  Same with Albies having a disappointing year...Marcell Ozuna is REALLY carrying that line-up at his age, pretty astounding when he almost looked like he might end up out of baseball entirely.
