Just a quick question from an ignorant Brit, but why does Schuster get the win when Kuhl pitched 3 innings as well and the winning run was scored when he was pitching?

A starting pitcher must pitch 5 innings to qualify for the win.After that since the lead was never relinquished I believe it's up to the official scorer to determine the winner. The scorer most likely determined that Schuster pitched the most meaningful innings after Kuhl since he pitched 3 shutout innings.

As much as I want them to lose, Robert hits a HR and Kopech looks dominant. Those are the real wins here.
