Dayton Moore works for the Texas Rangers.

JR will probably trade Crochet for him.

We might as well replace Cole Ragans for them...

Honestly?  I would trade Crochet for a top notch GM in a heartbeat.  Granted I don't think Dayton Moore is that guy, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it for an actually good front office head.

You had the two top Marlins' execs recently let go as well, one specifically in INTL SCOUTING.

Eve Rosenbaum would be interesting, since we spent so much time the last two years discussing Kim NG.  Obviously Elias is one of the best to work under as a mentor.

Interesting names mentioned include Kyle Boddy (Driveline), Sarah Gelles/Astros (Director of Research & Development) and the White Sox' own Sam Mondry-Cohen in ANALYTICS.

Knowing JR, it would be Dayton Moore.

Here we go again with what? There is zero evidence Dayton Moore is coming to the White Sox. It's not even a rumor.

This board has devolved into 20 posters inventing fake reasons to be mad at a team that has a million real reasons to be mad at it.

Balta has seemingly given up on being upset and has reached acceptance phase.

It’s more of a coping mechanism through sarcasm and cynicism in some cases, lime suggesting that we’d trade our #1 starter for KC’s former GM.

On one hand Sox fans think their players are lazy and only care about image (Moncada, Eloy, Robert), and then it's the manager's fault for being too hard on them. I think there's a certain part of the fan base who just masturbates to anything negative because they think it makes them edgy.

Plus it's easy to make fun of people you perceive at being outcasts. Brings out the bully when everyone gets to do it to everything White Sox. Most fans are not as vindictive nor care enough to hate so intensively.

Well, the biggest thing to be exacted about is that Fletcher might be a 4th outfielder if he can hit at 675-700ish pace.

Quero and Montgomery are injured or non-performing or some combination of both.  Wolkow is arguably your 3rd best hitting prospect and still 2 1/2 to 3 years away on what would be considered a "fast/er" pace for a high schooler.

Bottom line is Grifol was a horrible manager of a horrible baseball team put together by a horrible GM who answers to a horrible owner.

Extremely succinct and to the point ! 👍

Which is way more entertaining than the brooding contrarian who really doesn't hold an opinion other than yours is wrong.

Cali has kind of gone to this approach, like the anti-Balta, over the last year.

Kind of interesting switching perspectives and attempting to defend the organization in the face of a complete tidal wave in the opposite direction

The GM will probably stay healthier longer.

That’s completely old school baseball…having to be around the park all day long.

Thought that ended with Joe Maddon, lol.

Skip Schumaker comes from that same old TLR coaching tree with McEwing.

Grady seems more like Baldelli or Gabe or even Gordon himself.

basically too controlling, micromanaging, the opposite of Renteria as player’s manager…somehow best friends with Eduardo Perez, but I always felt Eduardo had a much better sense of humor and knew how to make fun of himself and blend in seamlessly

Whatever was with Pedro was not working with the Sox.  His firing was long overdue,

Tua Tagovailoa speaks candidly on difficult experience with former Dolphins coach Brian Flores - Yahoo Sports

Exchange pretty much every young player on the Sox with Tua and Grifol with Flores (maybe a bit more passive-aggressive), who took the position that losing was essentially the players' fault and pretty much nothing to do with him.

I didn’t get that impression so much, but I agree that people understate how big of an impact a coach can have on younger players’ psyches.

I still assert that Ricky was let go too early.
