Klaw, Taylor struggles with command, Montgomery not moving well

Every pitcher in MLB can locate on the inner third, so that’s very concerning. Hopefully Taylor is just working back from injury.

Sox don't retool they refool.

This is the wrong organization to retool a player's swing. Not good for Colson.

If only there was a managerial candidate with that kind of background

Thome or Konerko have relatively easy lives, they have seen what happened to Ventura and Renteria and Grifol, and likely don't need the money unless something went radically wrong with their investments

One thing he can do is back off the plate in the batter's box. That way, anything inside is a ball. Of course, then you may have a problem getting to the outer half.

For me, it starts and ends with Montgomery’s swing. It’s a balanced, well-synced lefthanded stroke with adjustability in his barrel. Montgomery has size and above-average athleticism, giving me reason to believe he’ll overcome the struggles that plagued him this past season. He has the ability to find the barrel and consistently get behind the ball and drive it to all fields, and I’m bullish on Montgomery’s ability to hit for impact while not sacrificing his bat-to-ball skills or approach. Long term, he is likely to move to third base, where he is equipped to be an above-average defender.

And (in my opinion) outside of when he was feeling the sting of a HBP, he's been moving fine? He's got 4 SB in 8 games, as a guy who had 8 total all last season.

So maybe we overreact on one article.

Law has been doing the backpeddle boogie on Montgomery for a while now.
