So much for the death of starting pitching Greg.

Edman just saved a run.

2-1 NYY lead on a massive Stanton homer that was higher than the light stanchions.

Can’t ask for anything more than a tie game going into the 9th.

Doug Eddings with the fan interference call!

Edman Kopech Kahnle...Sox fingerprints all over.

Can't give Chisholm two easy stolen bases.

Now three in one inning...latest by Volpe.

It’s the little things in baseball. Some huge opportunities lost for the Dodgers. Not over, but the winner of this game is probably winning a championship.

Jake Cousins to close it out?

Getz slight misfire there...how much cash did JR get back?

Not enough to erase Maldonado.

Lux's lack of stellar defensive instincts showing up as well this inning.

Dodgers left two runners on third with one out in the late innings as well.

Of course Edman and Ohtani due.

Cortes and ex Sox Tim Hill warming.

Should have been first and third if not for the slip on the base paths by Lux...

Chris Taylor in as a pinch runner.

Cortes pitching against doctor's advice...fwiw.

Uribe-esque catch there...Jeter, etc.

Ohtani out.

Second and third.  Should have tied the game.

Pitch to Betts? Nah Freeman.

Bases loaded.

What the hell was that pitch

Yelled “holy s%*#” off the bat and wasn’t cheering for anything but the moment. Glad I didn’t turn this off!

Awesome game

Four seam fastball and hadn't pitched since Sept 18th...

Boone just said it was going to be hard to double up Ohtani w/ Tim Hill likely to induce a ground ball...

Ex- Sox cost Yanks Game 1.

Cousins can't get enough guys out. Boone elects to bring in Cortez who hadn't pitched in a month rather than brining in ex Sox Tim Hill. Got 1 out on the catch in the stands that advanced theruners to 2nd and 3rd because he made the throw from the stands ( out of play). Intentional walk to Betts to load the bases and BAM ! Freemn crushes 1st pitch no douter.

Took me back to 88, Gibson walkoff watching the game while visiting Chicago at a friend's house. Also in game 1 and a walk off Dodger winner.

Or not

Freeeman was 9/14 in bases loaded.
