Ryan Brasier on a two year, $9 million contract...can probably get half that money back from LAD to solidify the Sox bullpen with another flippable veteran.

Beware the Sox prospect going back the other way...

"Brasier/grove should be on the move...

It would be great if we could unload Chris Taylor in a 2 for 1 to make room for k***..Rodriguez."  Would have to eat a lot of money in exchange for an intl. lottery ticket.

Banda Feduccia Outman the other three options, 90% likelihood it's a pitcher...

"Ideally you send Brasier to an AL/NL Central team for a low level lottery ticket. A young arm out of the Dominican Republic with high velocity, but some control problems, that can be fixed by altering the arm angle..."

Cali...Outman to the White Sox finally a realistic possibility!!!

Throw in Robert to sweeten the deal lol.

"Aaron Boone indicated that his starting outfield was likely to comprise Jasson Domínguez in left field, Cody Bellinger in center, and Aaron Judge in right. Trent Grisham is ticketed for a fourth outfield role. The eighth-year skipper suggested he hoped to keep Domínguez mostly in left field while using Bellinger a bit more flexibly."

White Sox could be trading for Outman...stop the presses.

Or Brasier ($9-13 million two year deal), Banda ($1 million contract) or C Hunter Feduccia.

Have already lost Thayron Liranzo (now DET #82 prospect), Carson Taylor and Diego Cartaya.  Rushing still standing, ofc.

"the Dodgers will now have seven veteran relievers with no minor-league options — a potential source of inflexibility for a team that has made a habit of shuttling relievers back and forth from the minors in recent years to ease the workload of its starting rotation."

Collusion is illegal, but it would be a very weird and amusing variation of it if the other 29 clubs "spontaneously decided" not to trade with the Dodgers between now and Opening Day. There'd be seven potential releases to pick over without loss of prospects.

All those LAD additions would probably amount to more positive fWAR for the Sox than all Chis Getz moves combined except for the Crochet trade....

Would be something like James Outman. Ch.Taylor, Fedducia, Brasier and Banda.  Thayron Liranzo and/or Cartaya could have been traded for other positions since catching depth is now a strength.

Taylor is a really tough decision due to tenure with the club, the club probably prefers to bring back Kiki Rodriguez and Kershaw now if they can somehow manage it.

That would be great for the White Sox, as they are #1 on the waiver claim slot, plus the Dodgers 40th roster slot probably has more talent than most of the White Sox 25 man roster.

Only thing is, teams might try to trade something for whoever is out on waivers if they think he is worth it. Might be an alright time to grab Outman.

Dodgers fans most worried about CF...still talking Luis Robert with Outman (much less value) and Pages both mentioned.

Weakest spots are Chris Taylor, backups to SS/Rojas and Betts now at second instead of short.  Which is why they still want Enrique Hernandez back...

They just extended Tommy Edman, who's slated for CF.

I'm actually confused on why he isn't just playing SS instead of Betts with him at 2B or back to the OF in center.

"Here are some moves I would like to see -

The Dodgers acquire a true CF.

Tommy Edman plays SS w/Miguel Rojas backing him up.

Mookie Betts plays 2B w/Hye-seong Kim backing him up."

Long term...it's definitely dePaula or Hope in CF.  Unless they (obviously) traded for/extended Luis Robert.

Robert would need to be .275 20/20 heading into July to pry one of those two away...something like that.  As well as massive rebounds in his defensive metrics.

Maybe Pages and SS Emil Morales/2024 intl signing class...or Morales and Ferris???

They definitely will when Cease King Suarez Cronenworth Arraez and probably even Tatis Jr. get auctioned off to the highest bidders.

Teams like LAD or Jays or Orioles or even the Twins...who have already been talking to Preller about trades.

Might as well take Paddack back lol.

At any rate, they will be the last example for years of a medium or small market team spending over $300 million on payroll...at least until a massive financial restructuring of the sport takes place.

It might actually have worked until the owner died and RSN deals became unsustainable.

No, I promise you no one here will care if all of that happens.

When Cease is on a team competing with the Sox for a better trade return than what Getz got for two years of Dylan it will be just as much a talking point as Fedde Vargas Luke Keachsall.

You and the lump lumps will care. Normal people don't scour the internet looking for something to feel shame over. We got a good, albeit light return for Cease.

Shame I should feel over Chris Getz and the current sorry state of the White Sox?

That's what basically forced me to start following other teams in the first place...total boredom with the Sox.

I honestly am more interested in the six women's players (#1-2 recruit in country, Matt Harpring's kid) visiting Iowa City for USC/JuJu match up this Sunday than anything the Sox are doing right now.

Or watching the stock market bounce all around the place like a Tasmanian devil.  Also more interesting.
