February 21Feb 21 This is just a great draft class. Anyone picking in the first 15 should walk away with a stud.

February 22Feb 22 I wrote some about Cholowsky and looked at White Sox potential bonus pool in Draft Notebook 2.0 today: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/02/22/white-sox-2026-mlb-draft-notebook-2-0/

Do you really think he would be on the major league squad as soon as 2027?

Start in Winston this year, finish in AA. Big league invite to ST, start in AA or AAA with a call up basically at any time.

Get him signed quickly in 26, give him his low A/A experience, then see if he can run the three levels by the ASB/September in 27. He's one of the most league ready hitters to come through the draft in quite a while. He will tell you by his play as a pro if he can do it.

He seems like he has enough bandwidth to be able to handle the challenge without being hurt by the jump

Sign me up before they go the Thome route. Thome would be a stereotypical White Sox selection of old.

Unique unicorn SS/CF.

February 27Feb 27 This Will Gasparino kid from UCLA is having a monster start. Is he a legit draft prospect? Plays outfield which the Sox obviously need.

He isn't on the current top 100 college draft prospects list at BA, but in their weekly chat this was asked. Quote Anonymous 2 days ago Who would you say has the biggest up arrow next to their name after the first two weeks of the college season? 2 replies Quote Carlos Collazo 2 days ago I think Cameron Johnson is one of the first names I would point to. He lost a lot of buzz over the last two years, but the arm talent is super obvious and he seems to have made some real strike-throwing strides. He needs to keep making those, especially with his secondaries, but he's definitely an up arrow. I'd also mention LSU OF Jake Brown and Kansas State SS Dee Kennedy. Both are getting a lot of positive scout feedback. Carlos Collazo 2 days ago Jacob Rudner chimes in to say Will Gasparino's name should be mentioned here, too.
