Yep and almost all sliders  not much confidence in change up two pitch pitcher might profile better as a reliever but it's obviously just first two spring innings.

Do we have to do this thing where we pretend not to understand that process > results in spring? Process: Colson punishes a low fastball. Result: Inning ending out for a hitless day

I would welcome discussions about particular concerns over particular players! I want nothing more than to actually talk about guys' pitch mixes and whether they will play in the majors, or if a hitte

Even the largely inept Rockies are 3-1.

Will fight with Sox and Marlins for worst record.

Rojas looking inept against Gomber curveball.

Flyout to left for Drury.

Almost makes one realize that spring training wins and losses are meaningless.

Not a shock at all. From what I saw last year, he isn’t close to a major leaguer

Not last year for Sox.

9-20 worst spring record.

Carried through into regular season.

The Sox had the worst ST and regular season records last year, so it actually made sense last year.

Actually, they were meaningless last year, too. That's why they don't count them. Don't confuse correlation with causation.

Sosa works a 7 pitch full count walk, nice to see.

We suck lol.

Other than Big 3 prospect pitchers and Martin was fine.

All evidence last spring indicated they were what they were...other than Fedde and Crochet.

Arenado trade talk to Astros back on.

Nolan hought Astros weren't trying to compete after Tucker trade.

Only eight consecutive post seasons and Cards definitely not competitive.

Catcher appeals strike call takes out Lee.

Taylor blows it with runners on second and third.  Short fly out to CF.

Not deep enough to run on Doyle.

Sosa scores   pitch got away from Stallings lol.

Wild Pitch Offense is back!

I actually think the Sox are that rare exception that defies the spring training record is meaningless rule. They are just that bad.

Announcers wondering why Benintendi and Vaughn are not stars due to draft position lol.

Add Madrigal.

AB blown away by heater.

Castillo was once quite solid with Rays.

Good stuff.

If Montgomery fails it's on the young catchers to carry the offense lol.

Cal Mitchell into LF  fletcher cf

I legitimately had no idea Benintendi hit 20 HRs last year. Talk about hitting when it matters the least.

Agreed.  They look equally bad in both.  And the reason is likely because the Sox starters are mostly AAAA quality, just like the reserves.

Cuz the White Sox either drafted them or wanted them in the draft.

Ex Padres Mitchell with great play in LF.

Why is Slater still in RF lol?

The 1998 White Sox won 39 more games than the 2024 White Sox.

Ex Giant Estrada blows the game wide open
