It’s nice they might have a few guys in the lineup this year that can actually take a walk. Gives them a little more of a chance.

It’s refreshing to see a GM who actually values plate discipline, good swing decisions, and high OBP’s.  That’s the one common theme of the majority of the prospects Chris has acquired.  And while we certainty need power and guys who can impact the baseball, at least high OBP can provide a reasonable floor as a starting point.

I really wanted a game like this.

McClain is the Sox 3rd rounder last year. Younger brother of Reds’ McClain.

Wolkow looks good in the of, considering his size and the fact he was mostly a corner IF as an amateur.

Taylor impressive. The 4 seamer is sitting 98-100.

He got rave reviews from instructs if I recall correctly.

If I was a Padres fan, I'd be very concerned. And depressed. 

Between Montes, Felesten, and Emerson, the Mariners system is loaded with upside.

Grant Taylor has comically good stuff.
