It’s refreshing to see a GM who actually values plate discipline, good swing decisions, and high OBP’s.  That’s the one common theme of the majority of the prospects Chris has acquired.  And while we certainty need power and guys who can impact the baseball, at least high OBP can provide a reasonable floor as a starting point.

Ofc the ironic aspect is the Ms have the best young rotation in the majors.

Don't even have any room for Hancock in the rotation.

 

Don't have a clue who Nick McLain is... took advantage of a bad hop.

McClain is the Sox 3rd rounder last year. Younger brother of Reds’ McClain.

He got rave reviews from instructs if I recall correctly.
