Really excited to see Taylor pitch. This forum is a breath of fresh air compared to the main one.

Agreed

Watched McDougall instead withe the delay in the Barons game, and …wow. He looked filthy.

Colson scratched. No way he is getting called up, right?

I’m going to say good either way.

Taylor/Barons postponed again. I want to watch him pitch. :(

Kanny hitters not exactly lighting the world on fire...

Hoping nobody expects Meidroth to be anything resembling a savior.

Outstanding start by McDougal tonight. If he ever starts throwing strikes, he’s got mlb stuff.

Maybe don’t pick the day they score 10 runs to knock them. Mogollon first A ball homer tonight.

Obviously it's only a handful of games in.

It would be nice if just one of the top billed prospects besides Quero got off to a great start.

Montgomery Wolkow and McLain are still the main prospects to monitor there.

McDougal has really good stuff. It's top 50 stuff. I think I would just keep starting him until he's out of options and then throw him in the pen once you have to roster him at the big league level. It's guys like him that truly speak to the ability of an organization to develop pitchers. Shultz was throwing strikes day 1, he's not necessarily a huge development achievement, he was likely going to succeed with anyone. But turn this guy into a legit MLB starter and it's a major accomplishment.

A guy like that would be a huge win.  He was a data darling with a big arm and nothing else.

Anyone else that MIGHT be able to be a big league starter in Low A/High A?

McDougal and Oppor apparently have the best pure stuff.   Many believe Tanner's future is as a reliever at this point, divided opinions on that.

Because AAA pitching is a s--- show right now...and have a hard time believing ANY of the AA pitchers will be promoted in 2025 due to service time issues/have to have SOMETHING to market for 2026 season ticket buyers (it certainly won't be the latest FA and hopefully they don't draft a position prospect in the first round just to recall him the next season).

It's only Iriarte/Nastrini/Owen White/Dunn as the rotation...but I wouldn't feel confident in any of those guys at present moment.

Seth Keener is a passable change up away from being a legit starting prospect. His command needs work but he has stretches where the command is pretty solid so the development may come, but without the change up he's probably a reliever. I like him a bit better than Batista because the slider is a legit MLB plus pitch.

Batstista, keener, gordon, Reyes.
