Meidroth moving on up in the lineup

Can we just stop the Vargas at lead off experiment already? Everyone knows Meidroth is the best option there, I don't care how long he has been in the bigs. Just stop already.

Not sure Getz is willing to acknowledge failure quite yet...he's also still one of the likeliest to walk, along with Tauchman.

Well, we can always use another 29 almost 30 year old OF with a -0.6 career bWAR and a .228 career batting average!!!

And an almost above average for Sox 665 ops in the NL...but a robust 462 in the AL.

Not exactly everyone and it's a gamethread. Everything gets blown out of proportion and nothing is as important as a bunch of stiffs and rookies playing baseball perfectly.

They must want Meidroth paired with the same player nearly everyday to build chemistry and don't seem to trust Baldwin at that spot...

Amaya is going back to the minors once he clears waivers again or maybe just an outright release once Rojas comes back .

Vaughn should be batting 8th or not at all.

Amaya is the glue that holds everything together defensively  ( 🤣). Somehow even Vargas hasn't looked terrible but he's due.

It's sad they put out such a powerless inept lineup day after day.

Others have speculated the lineups don't come from the manager. That may indeed be the case

Because a s%*# sandwich still has s%*# on it no matter how it is built. At least Tony and (season 1) Grifol had actual talent around.

The roster sucks but there's no excuse for vargas at leadoff.

See, that would make total sense as to why the lineups are terrible. Especially considering where they're probably coming from.

The more we see mediocre lineups and bad decisions (not pinch running Jones for Tauchman), I’m not even sure that it would have mattered if Sizemore got the gig instead.  There’s not enough talent to win anyways and Venable is obviously learning on the job, just as Sizemore would have been.
