We’re getting some guys on, we just have to cash in.”---Will Venable to the Sun-Times.

kitekrazy
I can't imagine what it is like for a manager trying to answer questions. It'd be easy to say "we suck and have to deal with it". Reinsdorf needs to be out of professional sports.
WBWSF
At the beginning of the season I didn't think the team could lose more games than last season. I'm starting to think it could happen.

Boston and Oakland on the road will tear right through this team next week...imo that Sunday loss against Crochet stopped them right in their tracks, quickly bringing team back to reality. SoxFest23
Venerable said he liked the swings today, he was fine with everything. This guy is just happy to be a manager, no thoughts of actual success.
Snopek
I mean what he’s saying is probably true. It’s essentially that the players are trying, they’re just not good enough.
