  • He is just trying to tell everyone that he is a better fan than most.  I, for one, am very impressed

No, trying to sieze some high moral ground and look down your nose as those who you deem as not good enough fans is what rings hollow.  Save your lectures.

  • 2024: 15-41 2025: 18-38 Nobody is blinded here, this team is just as bad as they were last year so far and just because you enjoy watching Meidroth, Vargas, Quero, and Smith doesn't mean you

Good for them.  Jerry & Co. earned their infamy for last season's 121 losses.  Unless it's the Cubs, Yankees, or Red Sox, I have no interest in seeing another team surpass that record.

The title remains on Jerry’s mantle, where it belongs.  Everyone rejoice

Rockies still on pace to end up with a record of their own

'record in 1 run games' is an interesting stat. Sox are 14-35, Rockies are 18-22 this season. Last year the Sox were 13-39.

The Rockies lose 119 games, they go out and hire Paul DePodesta to run their baseball team.

Was with Browns most recently?

Moneyball V.4.

Sam Hinkie would have been the far better choice.

The hiring of DePodesta comes after a search in which the two main candidates, Cleveland assistant general manager Matt Forman and Arizona assistant GM Amiel Sawdaye, balked at taking a job expected to require a multiyear rebuild.

This was the guy who basically was blocking J.Barfield in AZ.

Interesting background...48-49 years old seems ancient in modern baseball these days.
