100 Level

Recommended Posts

It has been a few years since I have gone to a game, I saw rumors they stopped checking tickets to enter the 100 level. Is that true? I love the seats behind home plate up high but I am planning on going for Buehrle's statue reveal and would like to go down to 100 if possible

They aren't checking anymore for 100 level access so anyone is free to roam around down there on the concourse and whatnot.

They have not been checking. However I anticipate that game may sellout and if that's the case they may. Just keep that in mind.

If they sell ~15k upper deck tickets to a game, they absolutely will check.

The games I’ve gone to last couple of years they didn’t and two of those were opening day games. They stopped last year.

Thanks guys. Seems like it still could happen, might just get lower level tickets

Check the infield corners (sections 154 and 110). Those tickets are typically cheaper and my guess is you can move around to get a better vantage point. StubHub and whitesox.com would be my best guess to find a deal. Unfortunately I can’t find the coupons needed to get deep discounts on tickets on whitesox.com anymore.

I did see a Bleachers and Brews deal for the 7/11 game in case you wouldn’t mind sitting in the outfield sections.

Sounds like he’s trying to go the next day for Buehrle day.

They may limit it if there is a sellout. I believe Mexican Heritage Night had ticket checkers for the 100 level.

Now I am not sure which game. Originally we were going to go to the 11th for the unveiling of the statue but Saturday is going to have pregame with the 05 team and the statue which will be tough to get

what's your group size? if you're a 2-3 I'd get tickets on stubhub or seatgeek or whatever day prior or day of.

Just two of us, forcing my wife to go up to Chicago for the weekend lol

That is typically what I do most of the time. Just not sure which game to go to at this point. We come in Thursday evening and leave Sunday morning so not sure if I want to go to a late afternoon game which would basically take up the whole day by the time we get back to the city. Weather looks pretty decent so far for an afternoon game especially if we get shaded seats.
