I would be amazed if GMs would avoid trade just to make a trade at the deadline.

I think the guy who had the least trade value last year was Ohtani.  You knew he would be that property of the few big spenders.  In Jerry's fake new conference he said he wasn't going to sign.  Like DUH!

Every team in baseball would have to consider due to the marketing possibilities as well as $46 million present day value of $70 million per year.

  • Not sure Vinnie Capra should count as a major league strikeout.

This s%*# of rotating Quero and Teel everyday needs to stop.  One catches and the other DH's every single fucking day.  Get rid of Slater/Tauchman/Capra/Rojas and bring up a 3rd catcher.  For the love

The announcers made a good point. Kershaw will be the last pitcher in baseball history to hit the 3,000 mark in strikeouts. Amazing.

Baldwin is so overmatched

If only the fucking white Sox did anything else half as well as ID fireballing projectable arms and cast off arms on the scrap heap. That's legit their specialty.

Give us your walk-prone, your live arms, your low slot lefties yearning to pitch free

Refreshing to have a guy with this kind of stuff out of the bullpen. I can't see him being a starter but hopefully he gets a shot

could easily be a starter as he already has a decent 3 pitch mix. These days being "stretched out" means a 5-6 inning guy anyways.

His motion and him having to dial it down a bit, I just can't see him having the same success but it certainly is possible

Plesac has some great Sox-related stories

almost don't want him getting too cold in the dugout here.

This is not because of kershaw's greatness, it has to do with pitch counts and the way pitchers are managed.  It's another way the game has changed.  I've seen quite a few of the 3k+ pitchers, and kershaw is not the one I'd pick to take the mound.  It's an achievement for a HOF pitcher to be sure.  But Austin Slater don't care, and neither do I.

Also known as their trade bait.

Sosa with a nightmare game

regardless of how this game ends, the 2 inning closer is an awesome role for Taylor. shout out Venable for having an imagination.

Yikes, mechanics all messed up that AB

he's lost it.

I can see the ending.
