    It seems that Venable likes the "high leverage reliever" concept. Taylor faced the more difficult part of the order. Last time they tried to have him do multiple innings it didn't go so well.

Hell of a play by Elko. 

One thing I noticed in looking at Meidroth’s spray chart is he doesn’t have a hit to the opposite field longer than 300 feet.  If he can’t keep the outfielders honest, it’s going to close a lot of gaps for him.

    Him and Vargas currently have the same problem. They can't hit anything middle out for any power oppo. Makes it pretty easy to pitch to them.
