I don’t think anyone wants to move Teel to 1B full time.  It was just a lineup suggestion to get Teel, Quero, and Lee in the lineup the majority of the time.

That’s not the issue though I think Quero is better behind the plate but you shouldn’t have Quero and Teel fighting for playing time, with Teel at first Quero would get plenty of playing time at Catcher with Lee as the backup. Teel should eventually become a big bat in the lineup and playing first base would prolong his career.
