I loved the part where he talked about a GMs job is finding role players and that everyone can identify stars. The Sox have 0 stars on this team. Their system is trending towards producing bulk regulars rather than stars. Finding stars, it’s pretty damn important.

So far today we've gotten players don't "know the game like they used to", Aaron Judge is a short porch merchant and it's completely fine to play Colson at 3B because he's such a great athlete.

It’s funny, he ran into trouble and wound up leaving the Cubs for telling the truth. Now he just spouts off made up crap, and because Schriffen is so over the top, it isn’t noticed as much.

I don't really mind Colson at 3B as long as he's not *always* playing there. But they also should consider playing Lenyn there, it's something he's done before and done just fine with it.
