Wonder how long they stick with Civale going forward

Needed to bring in a lefty, Civale was losing it on top of it he didn’t cover first on that potential DP.

    Got greedy. Civale gave you 5 solid. Get someone up in the 6th. Instead, they lose the game trying to get a couple extra outs. Venable needs to start competing. I understand they’re gonna lose 110 games, but eventually you have to pretend the games count.

    At the game. Was clear Civale was losing it by his body language. No excuse for him to stay in after the double, and definitely not after the first walk.
