The nice thing is that Colson has shown he can play both positions well so we have that flexibility down the road....but I'd definitely move him back to SS for now.

It SHOULD be way easier to find power at 3B than SS.  Colson needs to be given every chance to prove he can’t play SS.

John why are you telling us this stupid fucking lemonade story? We don’t care.

He's weaving a story throughout the broadcast.....much like Vin Scully.

They’ve gotten some great results from journeymen like Pomeranz, Flexen and Keller.

How come that crap doesn't work with the Sox??

You can’t watch Meidroth play SS and think he’s a long term fit.  His arm is atrocious.  He could easily have 5-6 errors this week.

He’s a rookie…these guys are going to make mistakes.  I don’t disagree on the arm, but otherwise he’s exceeded my expectations for him at SS.  That doesn’t mean he will stick there long term, but I still think he can believe he can be passable until a long term option presents itself.  Maybe that’s Colson, but the scouting reports I read made it sound like 3B would be his eventual home.

Yeah it’s likely both won’t be long term SS, but to me it’s way more important to see what Colson can do there.  Anyone that has had kids play travel can relate to this, but he looks like the coach’s kid who gets to play SS despite someone else more deserving.
