The Angels are Angelsing, acquire Andrew Chafin & Luis Garcia from WSH

Wow, other than having a couple star players over the years, the Angels are pretty much the White Sox of the west.

I'm glad they made the irrational decision of being a buyer again.

Maybe we can steal something from them like we did with Quero.

Aram Leighton is a funny focker.

Getz should call them up to try and pry Nelson Rada away, maybe they're in the giving mood.

Imagine having JR except every once in a while he buys another Albert belle instead of just doing it once.  Thats how I picture Arte Moreno

That would be AWESOME!

I wonder if we are a fit for anything they want.

AL Wild Card race is basically NYY, Boston, and the AL West. I can see why LAA would go for it and try to sneak in. Better than waiting til next year while Trout gets another year older.

The Angels are barely ahead of the Sox in run differential. Imagine thinking that team has a chance to actually get into the playoffs.

They're 4 games out of the last playoff spot. Of the 5 teams they need to catch, the Guardians are losing pitching piece by piece, and another 2 (Texas, Seattle) are in their division, and they play 4 against each. It's feasible.

When you give up Eder and a prospect outside the top 30, you can safely say that the price is right.

I'm just saying they're not a very good team and just happen to be in the race because of circumstances you mentioned. Unless Trout becomes an MVP candidate the last 2 months, I don't think they're anywhere near good enough to make the playoffs.

Oh, sure. I agree. Leap-frogging 5 teams is a heavy lift. Also, they have just taken 4 of 6 from the Mariners and Rangers.
