Owen White, we hardly knew ye

Take a look at Hudson’s numbers last year with the Brewers and then wonder why Getz ever gives up any young prospect for an old questionable reliever ever again.  Hopefully he has learned his lesson for good.

I think if you picked up 6 random pitchers and 5 of them worked out, that would be a good hit ratio.

Was there a particluar thread where it said the Sox claimed Hudson and the other guy ?

Nvm, found it in the White, Noda, Altavilla, Scholtens thread.

Scholtens claimed by TB, Noda by Orioles.

So, by somebody's definition, both Scholtens and Noda are extremely valuable players.

Just like last year....when the success rate with relievers was probably 1/6, everything equals out.

Noda got a 2 out hit to drive in the tying run in the bottom on the 9th against the Cubs but the O's lost in the 10th 2 days ago.

"extremely valuable," when the occupy the last roster spot on those teams?😀

doesn't that make Getz dumb for getting rid of them?

Though some prefer random horseshit posts.

Getz has to work the scrap heap and dumpster dive for bullpen arms right now. I am hoping in 2026 we see more of our own youngsters get called up from the minors.
