Perfect weather for the series. There's some wildfire smoke around but shouldn't be an issue, might be a little red haze on the broadcast, it's high up in the sky.

I look forward to seeing if Shane Smith hits Eugenio Suarez for a third time.

Going tmr for Ichiro Funcopop night. Meeting up with some people before but got my own ticket for the once a year occasion. Sitting 25th row behind Sox dugout. Going to be in a positive spirit this year compared to last year. Def will give Will some praise and Colson and others.

Rojas only value is that he’s a flexible bench piece at this point 

At this point in the season, why would you ever start Rojas, especially over a guy who will be here next season in Mead?  And the even bigger question is — why hasn’t Rojas been DFA’ed yet?

He should probably just play regardless of matchups.  We all know Rojas is gone after this season, if he even lasts that long.

They def told him to sell out for pull power and if he runs into one the other way so be it. It's working clearly. Look at that huge load mechanism tho. That will get figured out.

It's probably the type of change he only would have embraced after being in AAA and getting traded for a fellow DFA candidate. I was heckling him last year telling him he needed to pull the ball more. Sheets told me I should be a hitting coach with a sarcastic tone. Maybe he was right.

Well...have to cheer for any bad outcomes for the Cubs.

Pretty sure Vaughn already has almost 30 RBIs now with Milwaukee.

He has literally been Bondsian…

 

Not to mention there MIGHT be a team like the Yankees (too late there, moved on from Pereza) who needed that specific defense-first utility guy for the post season.

Just put him on waivers and at least see if there's a claim.
