Pitching matchups were always going to be tough this series, but they aren't making Woo work enough.

  • Let me watch Robert-Colson back-to-backs for years, please.

  • Is Sosa the one who tended to struggle when first getting promoted to a new level in the minors, and then always found a way to adjust? Or am I thinking of someone else?

  • That is Sosa.

at least work the  count if you're going to be rojas

If the other pitcher is locked in the last thing you want is your 9 hitter swinging first pitch in the first game of a series.

was that ball four I had the Mariners broadcast on and they didnt show the strike zone

pretty good AB from sosa, just got it off the end of the bat there.

nah, strike.

Strange outing for Martin so far. Probably approaching a career high in whiffs but man is he getting pummeled if the bat touches the ball

Final pitch to Lenyn was a couple inches outside per Statcast. Of course that might as well be his wheelhouse lol

Gordon is a legit good guy. He was too smart for baseball relative to his athletic talent in hindsight.

Sorry if I'm giving too much of a handy to the Mariners in this game thread but they're a really tough lineup with something to prove.

Never mind a team that does not score runs.

john loves the PNW, we should get him to hike mt si.

you might have to change your avatar to Gordon Beckham who probably takes a UTV and an entire thing of chew to make it to the creek a mile away on his property.

lol true.

Probably can't let Davis go more than one more batter and even that may be too much

Davis you're getting too close to 30 years old to be falling asleep like this

Venable had 3 chances to take him out. Start of the inning,1st walk, 2nd walk, yet left him in still. Fail x3

F--k off Beckham and Martin. They hire a Sox loser to be analyst.

Two runs on 1 hit with the error and HR, 3 runs on 1 single in that inning.

Hard to win giving up crooked numbers without making the other team earn them by stringing hits together at least.
