Still not a big fan of sitting Montgomery against a tough lefty but hard to argue with the results...

Meidroth hustle but doesn't have the speed to beat out many infield hits.

It's going to be a battle with him and Mead for utility spot next year IMO.

I just like getting as much slug as possible in the lineup

  • I think it is noteworthy that Colson has already dealt with back issues and he is only 23.  It sucks but I wouldn’t mind a day off here and there if it prevents injury

Single ,double, double, double Meidroth, Quero, Sosa , Mead 3-0  I'd love if the Sox took this series . But Sox pitching has a lot outs to get against some lethal Sox killers.

Vaughn and/or Eloy would be out for 2 years if they tried to make that

Edit who am i kidding they wouldn't make it within 40 feet of the ball

Wow, look at that run. very nice.

Wow, what a catch by Brooks, could have had a bad injury.

Smith has his ERA back down below 4.

Same with Davis Martin recently...

It looks like the Sox do a good job focusing on lower body chain mechanics in their players. Whoever is the lead in the athletic development / training staff should get a raise.

Colson cockiness is rubbing off on the whole team.

Baldwin seems to be more playing more light and easy now as well.  Maybe he felt stressed that any mistake would knock him out of the lineup for 2-3 games earlier in the year.

Almost up to a 700 ops.

They’d be pulling Eloy out of the net.

Youngsters looking darned good in this one. Been a very enjoyable homestand so far.

Incredibly efficient work from Smith, could be even better without the error.

I wonder how long they let him go if he continues to stay out of trouble. I assume 6 is still the limit, but he could make it difficult.

I fuckin LOVE the aggressiveness

Most LF dont catch that. Baldy has Robert type speed and then he challenged the wall.

Great hustle by Vargas.

Vargas is addicted to hustle doubles, just wild about an extra base whenever available

it was an incredible play given the wall and the new screen, of which as a player must be a very hard adjustment but one that should be practiced for pros.

tough luck for Quero.

the vibes are def good. sometimes you gotta clear out dead wood.

Pythagorean W-L: 57-73, 518 Runs, 584 Runs Allowed

58-73 after tonight    10 game difference from actual record, good part of that is the bullpen

last year 41-121 but 48-114 Pythagorean

My guess the mission is to avoid a hundred loss season.

Robert with a brutal night
