And that's a 7-0, 3 in a row winner

should we just have new game thread makers to keep it up?

....even without OP's making proper game threads and a "Sunday" lineup today.

-Shane smith best start of his (young) career?
-Bullpen settled down finally
-Baldwin flashing his power AND speed/defense with a great catch
-Korey Lee with a GREAT game both offensively and defensively makes our C' spot even better

A shutout with only 4K's is pretty efficient. 102 pitches between Smith and GIlbert, if not for the error could have been <100.

Yesterday's shutout took 10Ks and 161 pitches in comparison.

Play Baldwin in left everyday this year and next. See what happens.

All the usual great hopeful posters in the gamethread today. Good job eveyone !

He deserves a long look. The guy can hit the longball on mistakes for sure. He can end up being a good OF. They could use more power and speed and another switch hitter.

Excellent job by Smith. Sox can't beat K.C. at Kauffman but at least they can occasionally win at home.

50 wins here we come!!!!! WOO-HOO

Meidroth 11 errors already...he's as bad as Sosa in that regard.

I dont think you pay Schwarber that much to rot on the bench.

Your posting really has gotten insufferable. You are extremely knowledgeable and clearly have good insider intel. I also actually don't disagree with a lot of what you say, but do you really have to say it ALL THE TIME? You're becoming an SNL caricature like Debbie Downer with your constant Eeyore posts. Like I alluded, I generally like you, but please lighten up a bit.

We'll see what we can do but given what I've been seeing since 2007, no promises.

I'm assuming they will be showcasing Korey Lee a couple times a week in the last month for C starved teams in the offseason trade market

I was thinking about this and isn't Lee more valuable to our organization than what we would get in a trade? Or is that not the way to look at it since we are rebuilding? If they do trade him, I would hope it is for a promising outfielder....or maybe 2.
