I will describe my thanksgiving dinner - as I have 1,037,891 food allergies, it went like this:

turkey

mashed potatos (low sodium salt, no carb/no chorlestoral/no calorie/yet tasteful yellow spead that looks like butter at $4.50 for a small tub, and no-fat soy liquid and distilled water)

corn (low sodium salt, no carb/no chorlestoral/no calorie/yet tasteful yellow spead at $4.50 for a small tub)

onions, tomatos, cucumbers, green peppers

cranberry (whole berries)

and for dessert:

soy product sugar free frozen treat

today:

leftovers, oh yummy

but I did stop at the local bar/restaurant for dinner and NTN game and had the item on the menu they named after me, the "Vinnie burger" which is 1/3 pound hamburger, no bun, only tomatos and onions, and low salt chips - any pickels and condiments being out since they all contain vinegar (and vinegar feeds yeast and activiates the sugar-fructose-sucrose process in the body and kills)

amazingly, once one gets used to eating only for fuel and not to actually enjoy, it does get healthy and cheap as hell other than the $4.50 yellow stuff - tonight: soy product no sugar chocolate mousse!

other benefit: since no can eat no yeast nor anything that feeds yeast (such as vinegar) I am yeast free - think about it, yeast is a fermenting product and fermentation produces gas as a by product so no yeast means never being socially unpresentable or embarassed!

i turned yesterdays left overs into-----

Turkey enchiladas..mmmmmm

They were great

FOR thanksgiving:

HAM

A few slices of Turkey

Hot Rolls their the s***!!.

FOR today (Friday)

Mac Jr.

Small Fries- $2.18

AND free code red from my theater

AND Popcorn as well

Very simple.

Turkey (dry), stuffing (mushy), cranberry mix (from HELL), mashed potatoes (lumpy), yams (sweet potatoes - slimy), (burned) baked beans, (fatty) ham, biscuits with (cold) butter, and jello (please!!).

The same old s***, different year.

When I got home, I went to Taco Bell and ordered 3 three-layer burritos. I hate my mother's Thanksgiving dinner. It used to be good, but now it's just repetitive and nasty. The turkey could pass for a sponge in most cultures. You would think that after 32 years of cooking the same s***, it would taste better. But it gets worse every year. I would rather eat in a restaurant than have to eat the garbage my mother passes off as "food." Yuck. Pure CRAP.

I truly think she is trying to alienate us all so she can avoid cooking. Fine by me. That dinner Thursday is the worst ever. Message received, MOM. Maybe I'll go downstairs and eat my cat's litterbox deposit - it's not much different than what I ate at my parent's house.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, excellent stuffing (added a little raisen bread) baked sweet potato, fresh brussels sprouts, green beans, cranberry sauce with pecans and orange peel, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheese cake. Ended it with reruns of West Wing and my Developmental Psychology text.

I do miss my family, especially after that moving recital above.

IM there, after I eat at my house

You gotta love the turkey leftovers...... :D

My posts were meant in jest - you know, to lighten the mood up.

It wasn't that bad at all. I'm just trying to add some sarcastic twisted humor. :)

Turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, yams with oatmeal and brown sugar, pumpkin pie, rolls.

I don't eat the cranberry sauce or the stuffing, never been much of a fan...but everything else is excellent. The best part is, since we didn't have it at my house for the 2nd time in my entire life...were gonna have another meal on Sunday when my dad cooks it. Its gonna be so damn good. I've been waiting for leftovers and now I'll have a ton of them :headbang

That is exactly what she has. I hope you don't get the cough she has now, after all that crap drains out of your head.
