Imanaga likely to renegotiate for another 2-3 year deal. Especially with Steele out until mid season. Plus they can leverage him and Suzuki to add another NPB player such as Imai. With no track record though, I don’t think he gets it. I can see him gambling on 1 year/$22M and having no draft pick attached in a year.
