What the hell is CME anyhow

This is way over my head, but it's the former Chicago Mercantile Exchange, which is now partnering with FanDuel to sell legally-murkey "sports event contracts." Apparently a way to get around state sports betting laws??

For the record, anyone who wants to participate in these so called "prediction market" realize there is zero market regulation and consumer protection built into these.  Unlike say a real futures market, or sports betting, there is no clear legal regulatory entity which oversees these items, and it is pretty much the wild west, complete with unfettered market manipulation that cannot currently be stopped.

Second-to-last.  The Rays are now the only team without a uniform ad patch.

I can't hate on JR for this .Every team does it. No idea where that money ends up but its not like hes doing something that all the other owners arent doing.

Also who's to say this cant be a great thing moving foward. The company has DEEP pockets and the CEO is a Chicagoan from the Southside . Maybe it's an Ishbia thing or he's going to be interested in helping build a new stadium.

Most of you guys need to start thinking big picture possibilities when a company like that becomes involved with the Sox, the better the future outlook of the team becomes.

Not a single thing to dislike about this.
