WestEddy
Trib Recap Chicago White Sox: Munetaka Murakami:'s productive spring debut Quote Injury update The Sox scratched right fielder Everson Pereira from Friday’s starting lineup with tightness on his right side. “Just a little soreness,” Venable said. “Just really precautionary. Wanted to make sure we didn’t put him in a tough spot. But he’ll be day to day and we’ll see where he’s at.”

As someone that did 20 some odd winters there I think they ain't lying. Misery loves company. It's 38 today with a venus like cloud cover. Had some flurries this morning. I figured we were done with winter and on our way to spring but we finally got a gulf of alaska low pressure the last week. Had some hail too. Oddly we had no real winter weather in January or December. Climate is def changing. It was 50 and dry for most of January here. Anyways, go Sox. Glad to be getting into the better part of the calander. It has been a brutal winter man, and last summer was brutal. Hoping for a mild one this year, we're all pretty done with it lol. But aside from weather, this region really comes alive in the warmer months. It's great to be around Edited Saturday at 01:05 PM by Ducksnort

This one was easily worse in terms of snow since we started getting it at the very end of November this year and then it just stayed Edited Saturday at 04:03 PM by Bob Sacamano

WestEddy
SoxMachine recap First impressions from the first White Sox spring training game of 2026 - Sox Machine Quote Perhaps the unfamiliar violence coursing through his (Antonacci's) veins is why he punctuated it with a disproportionate bat flip and a couple of helmet slaps as he circled the bases. Only he can say, because he stuck to platitudes about trying to get on base and win the game afterwards. That's probably for the best given his lack of status, although he's the perfect candidate to pimp homers and stand behind said pimping. What are they going to do, throw at him? That's threatening him with a good time.
