It is stupid to think the Sox have 13 guys who are better than Baldwin.

Brooks is a lock for the roster.  His second half with the bat was simply too good to ignore.  The only question is can he take a step forward with the glove in the OF and stake claim to an everyday role.

I’m just going to say it.  If the rotation can surprise a bit (and I can think there is a non zero chance they can), this team will be sniffing at that last playoff spot.

Love me some Brooks so I hope so

It will be interesting to see how they handle the ABS when it comes to strike-him-out throw-him-out situations. I wonder if the umpires will allow pitch challenges to happen after throwing to the base.

Nothing against Acuna, but I really hope Brooks pushes for significant playing time in CF.  Huge organizational weakness and his bat would really play there.

Acuna stung that one.Speed double.

Let's go Edgar blow it open here.

Quero is a run producer

I want another Baldwin bomb here.

This team is putting up quality at bats. Even Colson’s K was a solid at bat. Could have gone either way.

Beautiful throw by Quero there

Jacob Wilson was locked up long term with 7 yrs $70M and his bat speed isn't anything to brag about for those worried about Quero Bat speed.

Besides Kwan also being pretty slow there's also Arraez. So Edgar's got some good company.

One isn’t blocked by someone potentially better. I think Teel is going to be great. Both lose a little value going off the catching position. I’d be all in on Quero being the long-term catcher if Teel wasn’t here.

Good point. There should be a rule somewhere that addresses that.

Davitt gets out of jam with DP grounder. Still 5-2 Sox entering bottom of 6th.

Pretty much all subs in now.Bergolla,Connor, Dru Baker,Breaux.

Lets go bonem... okay or that

Bonemer plunked bases juiced no outs.

True, because if the call is close you’d almost be better off challenging. Might go from 2 outs to 0 by a hair.
