W/L in exhibition games are virtually unrelated to team quality. Just tell us how individual players are doing. There’s probably no reason to even keep score other than for pitching evaluation

I would think CHSN was more on top of the BS trivia than a fanboi like me. 

But on top of that, I'm happy our AA-ballers can hold a lead against their A-ballers. There was a time we were kvetching that our major league club wouldn't win a spring training game.

Love can do that. Only with fandom you can love knowing full well youre not going to get the ultimate reward very often. But every year you can start that rite of spring again even knowing ( for the most part) how it'll end. You have to love the game 1st not just the colors. It binds generations . Its like watching Field of Dreams and always thinking its a great movie !

The White Sox finished Spring Training 11-19 in 2025, and 9-20 in 2024. The games don't count, and the rosters are often haywire. That said, it's fun when they win, and I'm eager to see the new acquisitions do well.

It really only counts for young players to get a role and start off well. And of course to get ready for the season without injuries. Which isnt easy as we've seen.
