Sosa at 3B is kinda interesting. Wonder if they are trying to showcase him to other teams.

This one on TV or a webcast anywhere?

I believe D-Backs radio.

Billy Carlson is probably with the big club according to the transaction page.

No idea why they stopped playing him there midseason last year. Seems to me the Sox and even moreso the fans have gotten unreasonably down on Lenyn's defense. There's an important distinction between "below average" and "unplayable" and Lenyn is merely below average...with the physical talent to be average at 2B or 3B. Just has to have his head on straight which may be a bit of a pipe dream by now.

I don't think Arizona's throwing a single projected starter out there, today. McCann is their backup catcher.

Kelenic with 2 nice catches and a 3 run HR (111mph, 419)

Old Orioles manager Earl Weaver offense today . Hit 3 run HRs.

Sox 6 runs 3 hits, 5 walks.

McDougal 15 pitch inning,  11 for a strike. Some hard hit outs and a hit. But Ivan Melendez was fouling off pitches hitting the same low away spot in-zone strikes. Just goes to show you have to vary pitch location even if you can continually dot the low away corner with fastballs. Shouldve went upstairs with it at least once in the 8 pitch AB.

Lamonte Wade  Jr with 3 walks. Meidroth with 2.

McDougal 2nd inning 10 pitches 8 for strikes .1, 2, 3 inning .1 K , 2 GO.

McDougal finishes his 3rd inning throwing 34 pitches with 26 being strikes.

0 runs, 2 H, 2K, 0 Walks. Very nice outing.

Spring ERA now 2.25.

Wolkow Infield hit steals 2nd

Bonemer  K

Fauske  K

Billy Carlson   K

Big George is an incredibly strong young man lol

Schultz got replaced mid inning which is weird, hopefully he’s not hurt.

Schultz 2nd inning + 1 out in the 9th. For the batter in the 9th it was sinkers, sliders and cutters. Sinkerwas at 95.2 .He induced a GO.

In the 8th 2 pitch GO,

3 pitch K with 1 FB @ 95.7 MPH Cutter 88.3,  4 seam 93.9

3 pitch 408 ft FO 84.5 slider & 90.4 Cutter both for strikes then the 4 seam at 95.3 was a loooong Fly out.

 Schultz 2.1 IP ,0 R,  0 H , 0 BB, 2 K

Wolkow got another single ended 2 for 2.

Eisert got the last 2 hitters to finish . White Sox 6  D'Backs 0.

Likely a 25 pitch limit. He did really well 4 seam not overwhelming but threw sinkers, sliders, cutters , 4 seamers and lot of them in zone.

That would be a very, very fast GB if that exit velo is accurate. Maybe even the hardest hit White Sox EV ever recorded.

Noah's numbers were the best thing about today over and above a well played win.
