ChiSoxFanMike
Sosa at 3B is kinda interesting. Wonder if they are trying to showcase him to other teams.

No idea why they stopped playing him there midseason last year. Seems to me the Sox and even moreso the fans have gotten unreasonably down on Lenyn's defense. There's an important distinction between "below average" and "unplayable" and Lenyn is merely below average...with the physical talent to be average at 2B or 3B. Just has to have his head on straight which may be a bit of a pipe dream by now.
WestEddy
I don't think Arizona's throwing a single projected starter out there, today. McCann is their backup catcher.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
McDougal 15 pitch inning, 11 for a strike. Some hard hit outs and a hit. But Ivan Melendez was fouling off pitches hitting the same low away spot in-zone strikes. Just goes to show you have to vary pitch location even if you can continually dot the low away corner with fastballs. Shouldve went upstairs with it at least once in the 8 pitch AB. He did really well 4 seam not overwhelming but threw sinkers, sliders, cutters , 4 seamers and lot of them in zone.
