I don't think anyone's brought it up, but I'd be willing to create a banner if anyone wants - I'd just need the Soxtalk logo in a PNG format and sizing specs.

Verizon is the known issue - if you are on wifi good...non wifi not good. We are trying to resolve - it appears this is more of a verizon issue than us (at this point), but will take some time for it to resolve.

I haven't been able to get to the site on my work computer since the update. Cleared cache and checked multiple browsers. It's always automatically connected to VPN not sure if that's the issue.

How does one post a Twitter comment?

Copy the link to the tweet and paste into the text/reply box, should automatically embed.

That's what I'm doing. How do I get the frame to display?

If you're posting via mobile, paste the link then hit enter, should embed in the text box and then post. Just tested it out on my phone now.

Oh, Share>CopyLink. Thank you very much.

Is there an option to turn off the "thread preview" and just see the post topic? It it too busy for me and cluttered now.

I can confirm this. I didn’t notice any issues with the site at all, but I had been on WiFi the entire time using my Xfinity/Comcast cable Internet connection.

However, I just turned WiFi off on my phone so it is using my data, which is Xfinity Mobile, and the site won’t load at all. It just hangs forever. Xfinity Mobile uses Verizon’s network for coverage.

I seem to have the opposite problem. I can access Soxtalk on my mobile devices only using data. I cannot get on using WiFi. Odd.

We are going to try some stuff today to get the Verizon issue solved - so could be some bumps along the way while we do that.

Gotta be some sort of DNS issue.

Google how to set your DNS to 4.2.2.1 (or any other free one) takes like 10 seconds and might resolve the issue for anybody else. Also gives you a bit more privacy than using your ISP's.

Sure, but I mean on the hosting side of things.

That is probably your cache / dns not fully recaching yet. So its still maybe pulling / defaulting to the old DNS. Has your mobile started working? We did do the change today to try and solve the Verizon fix. Not sure if it worked or not - can take 24-48 hours until everything fully resolves.

As of a few minutes ago it's still not loading for me w/ data.

Not working for me with WiFi

(Verizon user) I'm able to access the site by using data AND a VPN. The Verizon network itself still doesn't appear to work for me, but using the VPN is giving me usual access.

Site feels really nice response wise now, better than prior version. Like the in window updates that will be great for game threads. Not a fan of some of the formatting, at least in 4K on the desktop. That said, it's a mobile world and thanks for all the hard work the admins do.
